Hi wannaplay,
I think that you will run into difficulties on a couple of levels.

1. The range is rather limited. These use infra red control, similar to what is used for TV remote controls. Indoors, with walls and a ceiling for the infra red signal to bounce off of, you will get a max range of 20 feet or so. Outdoors, without anything to bounce the signal off of, you will get less range.

2. These helis cannot handle any wind at all. Great for indoors. Outdoors, they will move away from you at whatever speed the wind is blowing. On those rare days with absolutely calm air, you can fly outside. but other than than, the heli will always get blow away by the wind.
